01

Rhetorical Revision

The goal was to take an essay from ENGW 104, and revise it into a research paper. I chose an essay arguing the use of AAVE in professional settings, with Howard University students as my intended audience, seeing as attendees are most likely to be users of AAVE.

02

Radical Revision

Choosing to write a magazine article for Vanity Fair, because of its diverse content and genderless material, the revised essay was centered around a playlist of protest music. The main themes were sexism, misogyny, and women's empowerment.

03

Multimedia Project

Here, I facilitated a discussion concerning the content of my first revision. I felt that the subject matter would be most interesting and practical to talk about, since it elicits different responses, depending on the person's own views and experiences.
